Installing Desiccator

WARNING: Refrigerant

Danger of freezing

→ Avoid contact with refrigerant.

→ Wear personal protective gear.

→ Observe the safety regulations for working on air-conditioned vehicles and dealing with refrigerant.

→ Observe the safety regulations for extraction and filling systems.

→ Observe the instructions for repairing air conditioning systems and storing spare parts.

Information

The desiccator must be replaced in the event of malfunctions in the system (e.g. accident damage or air conditioning system is depressurized)!
Used refrigerant oil extracted from a previously run air conditioning unit must not be re-used!

Replace both O-rings -3- on the stopper -1- and coat them with refrigerant oil.

Slide desiccator -2- into the condenser.

Place stopper -1- on the condenser and tighten it.
