Preliminary Work

  1. If a new control unit has to be installed, the values/coding must be read out using PIWIS Tester II 9818  prior to removing the "old" control unit. → 279455 REPLACING BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CONTROL UNIT .

  3. Isolate the high-voltage system from the power supply and complete the relevant documentation. → 2X00IN ISOLATING HIGH-VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM FROM POWER SUPPLY/STARTING HIGH-VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
