Preliminary Work

  1. Disconnect the battery. → WM 270619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING BATTERY (ALL MODELS) 
  2. Remove right wheel housing liner. → WM 505619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER
  3. Remove right air cleaner housing.
  4. Remove engine guard. → WM 108019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE GUARD
  5. Drain coolant. → WM 193817 DRAINING AND FILLING COOLANT
  6. Release drive belt. → WM 137819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING DRIVE BELT (CAYENNE S & CAYENNE GTS)
  7. Remove cooling fan housing (radiator frame). → WM 195519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING HOUSING FOR COOLANT REGULATOR
