Removing Bearing Cover For Balance Shaft

  1. Unscrew the fastening screws to the right -1-  of the coolant pipe -2-  .

  2. Lever the fastening clip on the coolant pipe -2-  up as far as necessary to allow the bearing cover to be removed later.
  3. Lever the cap off the drive-belt deflection roller.

  4. Unscrew the fastening screws -arrow-  and remove the deflection roller from the bearing cover.
  5. Unscrew the fastening screws from the bearing cover.
  6. Pull off the front bearing cover first at the right -arrows 1-  and then at the left -arrows 2-  .

  7. Drive out the sealing ring for the crankshaft pulley when the bearing cover is removed.
