Left Timing Chain

  1. Screw/replace → Initial tightening: 80 Nm (59 ftlb.) → Final tightening: +90° 
  2. Screw/replace → Initial tightening: 80 Nm (59 ftlb.) → Final tightening: +90° 
  3. Camshaft sprocket, for outlet camshaft
  4. Camshaft controller, for intake camshaft
    • "in-take" marking
  5. Left timing chain
    • For re-installation, mark rolling direction with paint/colormarker
    • Remove from camshafts
  6. Screw → Tightening torque: 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.) 
  7. Slide
  8. Chain tensioner, for left timing chain
  9. Bearing plate, for drive sprocket
  10. Screw/replace → Initial tightening: 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) → Final tightening: +45° 
  11. Drive sprocket, for left timing chain
  12. Bearing pin, for drive sprocket for left timing chain
  13. Screws/replace → Initial tightening: 5 Nm (3.5 ftlb.) → Final tightening: +60 Nm (+44 ftlb.)
