Adjusting Multi-Functional Switch

Selector lever is in position N.
Unscrew fastening screws -arrows- and remove heat shield from the transmission.

Disconnect electric plug connection from the multi-functional switch.
Remove cap nut, cap, nut with tab washer and rubber washer on the multi-functional switch → Multi-functional switch .

Loosen fastening screws -arrows- .

Position special tool adjusting tool T10173 on the shaft and secure to the shaft with a screw -arrow- .

Tighten fastening screws -arrow- and remove special tool. → Tightening Torque: 5 Nm (3.5 ft. lb.)

Install and tighten cap nut, cap, nut with tab washer and rubber washer on the multi-functional switch → Multi-functional switch . → Tightening Torque: 7 Nm (5 ft. lb.) → Tightening Torque: 15 Nm (11 ft. lb.)

Connect electric plug connection to the multi-functional switch until it engages securely.
Position heat shield on the transmission.
Tighten fastening screws -arrows- . → Tightening Torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.)
