Installing Selector Support

Do not apply lateral forces to the pull rod as it could break off.

Guide the selector lever cable into the selector support.
Lock the clamp -1- on the selector lever cable connection -A- .

Tighten the fastening screw in the small opening -3- (using a 5- mm Allen key, approx. 15 cm long) next to the emergency release -4- for the selector lever cable -2- on the selector support -1- to → Tightening Torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.) .

Tighten fastening screws -2- for the selector support -3- in the center console -1- to → Tightening Torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.) .

Plug in electric plug connection on selector support -1- (-arrow- ) and lock it -a- .

Screw in fastening screws -2- for selector lever cable -3- and clip on ball joint -1- .
