Changing Oil For Transfer Gear

- Slide oil collecting container under the vehicle.WARNING: Hot fluid
- Danger of scalding
→ Let the fluid cool down.
→ Wear personal protective gear.
- Unscrew the oil drain plug -2- and drain the oil.
- Screw in new oil drain plug -2- . → Tightening torque: 17 Nm (13 ft. lb.)
- Unscrew the oil inspection plug -1-

Vehicle must be horizontal in order to fill the transfer box.

Use only oil approved by Porsche.
- Fill in oil up to the lower edge of the inspection opening -1 - using Manual Metering Pump WE 1372 .
- Screw in new oil inspection plug -1- . → Tightening torque: 17 Nm (13 ft. lb.)
