  1. Fuel supply connection (low pressure) → Tightening Torque: 30 Nm (22 ft. lb.)
  2. Fuel pressure sensor for low-pressure
  3. Fuel supply hose; if the fuel hose is removed from the fuel distributor, it must always be replaced as it will be damaged by the corrugated connection piece during removal.
  4. Spring band clamps
  5. Fuel low-pressure hose between high-pressure pump and fuel distributor; always replace the fuel hose as it will be damaged by the corrugated connection piece during removal.
  6. Cam follower; coat with clean engine oil
  7. Sealing ring Replace  ; coat with clean engine oil
  8. High-pressure pump; with control valve for fuel pressure; to loosen and tighten the fuel lines, counter at the adapters with a wrench; → Tightening Torque: 40 Nm (30 ft. lb.) → Tightening Torque: 28 Nm (21 ft. lb.)
  9. Screw → Tightening Torque: 8 Nm (6 ft. lb.)
  10. O-ring; coat with clean engine oil
  11. Pressure control valve Replace Removed Valve  ; coat O-ring with clean engine oil before fitting.
  12. Screw plug for pressure control valve → Tightening Torque: 22 Nm (16 ft. lb.)
  13. Fuel pressure sensor; coat front sealing cone and the thread with clean engine oil. → Tightening Torque: 22 Nm (16 ft. lb.)
  14. Fuel distributor; for cylinders 2, 4 and 6
  15. Screw Replace → Initial Tightening: 30 Nm (22 ft. lb.) → Final Tightening: +90°
  16. O-ring; coat with clean engine oil.
  17. Support washer Replace If Damaged
  18. Spring element Replace Whenever The Fuel Distributor Is Removed
  19. Fuel injector for cylinders 2, 4 and 6
  20. Fuel distributor; for cylinders 1, 3 and 5
  21. Fuel injector for cylinders 1, 3 and 5
  22. Sealing ring
  23. Fuel high-pressure pipe → Tightening Torque: 28 Nm (21 ft. lb.)  ; the fuel pipe must not be touching any other components. The fuel pressure in the high-pressure line can be up to 120 bar! Wear goggles and protective clothing to prevent injury and skin contact. Place a cloth around the connection before loosening the fuel lines. Then release pressure by carefully loosening the union nuts; counter with a wrench at the adapter for the high-pressure pump when loosening and tightening the union nut; before installation: first re-tighten the adapter on the high-pressure pump
  24. Connecting tube; the fuel pipe must not be touching any other components. → Tightening Torque: 28 Nm (21 ft. lb.)
