Installing Crankshaft Pulse Sender

Check the sealing ring on the crankshaft pulse sender and replace it if necessary .

Fit crankshaft pulse sender into the cylinder block. Align and screw fastening screw in hand-tight.

Tighten the fastening screw. Crankshaft pulse sender → Tightening Torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.)
Use a wire or auxiliary cable to guide the cable for the crankshaft pulse sender between the cylinder block and oil-filter housing/engine carrier.
Connect cable plug and slide onto oil dip stick guide tube.

Press the two coolant hoses onto the intake-air distributor and fit screw on oil dipstick. Insert dipstick. -1-
