Installing Right Knock Sensor

Information
- Observe the specified Tightening Torque for the knock sensor screw .
- Align the housing and cable plug for the knock sensor in such a way that they are not touching .
- Otherwise, there is no guarantee that the knock sensor will work correctly .

- Clean contact surface of knock sensor with a cloth .
- Position knock sensor with fastening screw on the cylinder block. Route the cable so that it is facing the front of the vehicle. Clip in cable. Tighten fastening screw. → Tightening Torque: 20 Nm (15 ft. lb.)
- Fit cable plug.
