Installing Left Knock Sensor

- Observe the specified Tightening Torque for the knock sensor screw .
- Align the housing and cable plug for the knock sensor in such a way that they are not touching .
- Otherwise, there is no guarantee that the knock sensor will work correctly .

- Clean attachment surfaces of knock sensor on the cylinder block with a cloth .
- The installation position is difficult to reach .
- Move knock sensor and fastening screw into installation position.
- Tighten fastening screw to the specified torque. → Tightening Torque: 20 Nm (15 ft. lb.)
- Connect cable plug for knock sensor.
