Installing Knock Sensor

Tightening Torques, tightening sequence and assembly overviews for the engine and transmission:

Information

Observe the specified Tightening Torque for the knock sensor screw .
Align the housing and cable plug for the knock sensor in such a way that they are not touching .
Otherwise, there is no guarantee that the knock sensor will work correctly .

Information

Clean contact surface of knock sensor with a cloth .

Install knock sensors -1- . Make sure that the knock sensors are aligned as shown in the illustration.

Tighten fastening screws -2- .
Connect cable plug.
