Removing Ignition Coils

Information 

The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example. The procedure for the other side is practically identical.

  1. Disconnect cable guide on the cylinder head cover.
    1. 1.1. Unscrew screws -1-  and -2-  and loosen cable guide.

      Cylinders 4-6:  Loosen screw -2-  using tool Insert For Torque Wrench 9792  and unscrew it.

    2. 1.2.

  2. Loosen ignition coils.
    1. 2.1. Release electric connectors -arrows-  and set cable guide aside.
    2. 2.2. Loosen screws -1-  on the ignition coils.

  3. Remove ignition coils. → see Fig 3

  4. In difficult-to-reach areas, the ignition coil -1-  can also be turned.
