Installing Drive Plate

Information
- Clean the crankshaft stub before installing the drive plate (remove rust) .
- Use a special metal-polishing pad (e.g. Never Dull) for this .
- Because of the bearing classification, cleaning at the crankshaft flange must be done gently and, if necessary, the bearing classification must be documented on a separate document and kept in the service booklet .

Tightening Torques, tightening sequence and assembly overviews for the engine and transmission:
- Group 1: → 1X00IN TECHNICAL VALUES
- Group 2: → 2X00IN TECHNICAL VALUES
- Group 3: → 3X00IN TECHNICAL VALUES
- Fit drive plate on crankshaft.
- 1.1. Position old drive plate according to the marking made during removal.
- Block drive plate.
- 2.1. Toothed Segment 95381 must be attached to a threaded bore at the bottom of the oil guide housing so that at least one tooth engages with the ring gear.
- Secure drive plate.
- 3.1. Replace screws.
- 3.2. Fit screws in diagonally opposite sequence in several steps and tighten hand-tight.
- 3.3. Tighten screws to the specified torque in diagonally opposite sequence.
