Preliminary Work

  1. Remove engine cover (design cover). → 108319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE COVER (DESIGN COVER)
  2. Drain coolant. → 193817 DRAINING AND FILLING COOLANT (INCLUDES BLEEDING) 
  3. Remove cooling fan housing (radiator frame). → 192019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COOLING FAN HOUSING (RADIATOR FRAME) 
  4. Drain refrigerant from the air conditioning system using suction. → 870317 DRAINING AND FILLING REFRIGERANT
  5. Remove front apron. → 631519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT APRON
  6. Remove cooling-air flap. → 193519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COOLING-AIR FLAP 
  7. Remove left charge-air cooler. → 214319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CHARGE-AIR COOLER
