Removing Front Coolant Pipe

Drain coolant. → 193817 DRAINING AND FILLING COOLANT (INCLUDES BLEEDING)
Remove poly-V-belt for compressor. → 137819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING POLY-V-BELT FOR COMPRESSOR
Remove front left coolant pipes. → REMOVING FRONT LEFT COOLANT PIPES - section on "Removing"
WARNING:
Hot fluid
- Danger of scalding
→ Let the fluid cool down.

→ Wear personal protective gear.
Remove coolant hose from the front coolant pipe by lifting up the retaining clip -arrow- .

Press the locking mechanism -arrows- together and pull off valve for coolant pump -1- .

Hot fluid

→ Let the fluid cool down.

→ Wear personal protective gear.
Disconnect secondary-air hose -1- and coolant hose -arrow- .

Loosen hose clamp -1- and disconnect electric plug connection -2- at the coolant temperature sensor.
Unscrew screw -3- and fastening screws -arrows- .

Swivel coolant pipe forward and lift it up off the engine.
