Removing Pipes For Engine Oil Cooler

WARNING:
Hot fluid
- Danger of scalding
→ Let the fluid cool down.
→ Wear personal protective gear.
Remove return pipe for engine oil cooler:
- Drain coolant. → 193817 DRAINING AND FILLING COOLANT (INCLUDES BLEEDING)
- Remove air-conditioning compressor. → 873419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING AIR-CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR
- Place a drip tray under the engine.
- Disconnect coolant hose -arrow- from the engine oil cooler and drain coolant.
- Remove coolant pipe.
- 5.1. Unscrew screws -1- and -2- for the coolant pipes. Loosen hose clamp -3- .
- 5.2. Swivel the coolant pipe slightly to the left -arrow-
and pull it off the upper coolant pipe.
Remove Supply Pipe For Engine Oil Cooler:
- Unscrew screws -arrows- and remove holder for air-conditioning compressor.
- Pull the coolant hose off the engine oil cooler, unscrew fastening screws -2- and remove the coolant pipe.
