Removing Coolant Pump

  1. Release drive belt. → 137819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING DRIVE BELT
  2. If the pulley has to be removed in order to replace the water pump, counter the pulley using a commercially available mandrel or screwdriver and loosen the screws on the pulley.
  3. Turn the drive wheel for the coolant pump in such a way that the fastening screws can be reached through the holes in the pulley -arrows-  .

  4. Pull coolant pump out of the crankcase.
