Draining Coolant For Low-Temperature Cooling System 2

WARNING:
Hot fluid
- Danger of scalding
→ Let the fluid cool down.
→ Wear personal protective gear.
- Open the cap on the coolant reservoir.
- Disconnect coolant hose -1-
from coolant pipe -2-
.
- 2.1. Loosen the clamp -arrow- and pull off coolant hose -1- .
- 2.2. Collect emerging coolant.
- Drain cooling system using pressure.
- 3.1. Close off coolant hose -1-
securely using a suitable stopper -3-
.
(Example: stopper and hose clamp)
- 3.2. Slide a piece of hose -4- onto the coolant pipe -2- and insert end of hose into a collection container.
- 3.3. Hold the end of the hose tightly or secure it.
- 3.4. Screw adapter K 65 from Filling Device 9696 onto the reservoir.
- 3.5. Connect compressed air hose to the adapter K65 and apply max. 1.5 bar pressure to the cooling system.
- 3.6. Pull off piece of hose -4- and close off coolant pipe -2- securely using a stopper.
- 3.7. Insert coolant hose -1-
into a collection container.
Hold the end of the hose tightly or secure it.
- 3.8. Repeat Steps 3.4 through 3.5.
- 3.1. Close off coolant hose -1-
securely using a suitable stopper -3-
