Removing Cooling Fan Housing: Removing

WARNING: Electrically moved components
  • Danger of limbs being trapped or severed

→ Switch off electric power to drive motor.

→ Make sure it does not switch on again.

→ Check that there is no electric charge.

  1. Unclip electric wire harness -2-  from the brackets on the cooling fan housing -3-  .
  2. Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1-  for fan at the cooling fan housing -3-  .
  3. Unscrew screws -arrows-  and set the coolant pipe -4-  with connected coolant hoses aside.

  4. Release locking springs -9-  at the left and right of the cooling fan housing.

  5. Pull cooling fan housing out of the brackets at the side and at the bottom and swivel it to the right slightly (in direction of travel) -arrow A-  .

  6. Carefully remove the cooling fan housing by pulling it up -arrow B-  .
