Installing Oil/Water Heat Exchanger (Oil Cooler)

Information 

  1. Place the two sealing rings in installation position.
  2. Position the oil/water heat exchanger on the oil-filter housing/assembly mount and insert the oil cooler cover through. Screw the oil cooler cover (banjo bolt) on hand-tight.
  3. Tighten the oil cooler cover (banjo bolt). → Tightening torque: 25 Nm (19 ftlb.)  .
  4. Fit the two coolant hoses on the oil/water heat exchanger -arrow-  .

  5. Move holder into installation position. Fit fastening nuts for the hose holder -arrows-  . → Tightening torque: 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)  .
