Removing Oil-Pressure Sender

→ Attach warning sign in a clearly visible position.
Information
- Oil pressure may be too low for a number of reasons:
- Oil is diluted .
- Oil pump is faulty .
- Bearing clearance is too large (e.g. crankshaft bearing)
- Oil level is too low .
- Oil pressure regulating valve is faulty .
- Incorrect oil has been used. Only use oil that has been approved by Porsche for the measurement .
Information
- When the oil-pressure sender is unscrewed, approx. 0.3 liters of engine oil will escape .
Collect emerging oil and dispose of it in accordance with the applicable national laws .

- Unscrew fastening screws -4- and remove oil-pressure sender -3- . The adapter is removed as well.
