Performing Measurements 3
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2018 Porsche Cayenne, 2017 Porsche Cayenne, 2016 Porsche Cayenne, 2015 Porsche Cayenne, and 2014 Porsche Cayenne. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
Preliminary work for measurement 3:
- Release high-voltage connector from high-voltage battery to high-voltage charger and disconnect it

- -1- = HV connection for rear PTC
- -2- = HV connection for front PTC
- -3- = HV connection for HV battery
- -4- = HV connection for charging socket (3-phase)
Measurement 3.1:
- Connect high-voltage test adapter High-voltage test adapter HVR 40 WE 1586 to high-voltage connector for the high-voltage charger -1- . Leave the second connection on the test adapter open.
- Perform measurement 3.1.
- 3.1. Setpoint value: > 550 MOhm
Measurement 3.2:
- Connect high-voltage test adapter High-voltage test adapter HVA 280 WE 1585 to high-voltage charger for rear PTC -1- . Leave the second connection on the test adapter open.
- Perform measurement 3.2.
- 5.1. Setpoint value: > 550 MOhm
- Evaluate the test results
.
