Performing Measurement 10

Preliminary work for measurement 10:

Remove engine and electric machine. → 100127 REMOVING ENGINE FROM TRANSMISSION AND MOUNTING ENGINE ON TRANSMISSION
Disconnect 3-phase wiring from electric machine. → 279319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING HIGH-VOLTAGE LINE FROM POWER ELECTRONICS TO ELECTRIC MOTOR
Measurement 10.1:

Use insulation tester Insulation tester WE 1379 to test the insulation resistance at the contacts of the electric machine (measurement 10.1).
1. 3.1. Setpoint value: >550 MOhm

Hold both measuring tips of the insulation tester WE 1379 at all three terminal shoes -1- and at the insulation -2- on the 3-phase high-voltage line.

Perform measurement 10.2.
1. 5.1. Setpoint value: > 550 MOhm
Evaluate the test results .
1. 6.1. If the specified measured values from measurement 10.1 are not within the tolerance range and the specified measured values from measurement 10.2 are within the tolerance range:
  1. 6.1.1. Insulation fault in electric machine.
  2. 6.1.2. Replace electric machine following consultation with Technical Support. → 279019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ELECTRIC MOTOR WITH DECOUPLER (HYBRID MODULE)
2. 6.2. If the specified measured values from measurement 10.2 are not within the tolerance range and the specified measured values from measurement 10.1 are within the tolerance range:
  1. 6.2.1. Insulation fault in 3-phase wiring from power electronics to electric machine.
  2. 6.2.2. Replace 3-phase wiring from power electronics to electric machine following consultation with Technical Support. → Installing High-Voltage Line From Power Electronics To Electric Motor
3. 6.3. The measured values from both measurements are not within the tolerance range.
  1. 6.3.1. Repeat the measurements.
  2. 6.3.2. Check measuring equipment and repeat the measurements.
  3. 6.3.3. Contact Technical Support.
4. 6.4. The measured values from both measurements are within the tolerance range.
  1. 6.4.1. Repeat the measurements.
  2. 6.4.2. Check measuring equipment and repeat the measurements.
  3. 6.4.3. Contact Technical Support.
