Deleting Adaptations Selectively (Affected Areas)

Necessary after:
- Replacing high-pressure pump
- All work that must be carried out as a result of high-pressure faults, e.g. electric fuel pump, control unit for electric fuel pump...
- Fuel high-pressure adaptation
Necessary after:
- Replacing oil pump
- Replacing oil pressure control valve
- Mixture adaptation
- Lambda adaptation
Necessary after:
- Replacing high-pressure injectors
- Correcting faults during load detection, mixture control, emissions measurement
- Pressure sensors, intake manifold
Necessary after:
- Replacing intake manifold pressure sensor
- Replacing boost pressure sensor (Turbo only)
- Boost pressure control (Turbo only)
Necessary after:
- Replacing turbocharger
- Correcting faults in boost pressure control system
How?
PIWIS Tester:
- Preconditions:
- 1.1. Engine off
- 1.2. Ignition on
- 1.3. Engine cold if possible
- Select menu:
- 2.1. DME
- 2.2. Maintenance/repairs
- 2.3. Delete adaptation values
- Information on deleting adaptation values
- Confirm with [F8]
- Submenu of adaptation ranges
- Select adaptation range and continue with [F12]
- Switch off ignition (see also INFORMATION )
