Installing Brake Shoes

Brake Shoes
Adjustment Device
Compression Springs
Tension Springs

Installation is performed in reverse order.

Align the entire unit in the middle.

Remove tie-wrap at actuator for parking brake.
Insert brake shoes with adjustment device -1 and 2- .
WARNING:
Preloaded or pressurized components
- Risk of injury (e.g. crushing or bruising) when removing and installing springs.
→ Do not reach into the danger area.

→ Relieve the tension on components before starting work.

→ Secure components to prevent them from loosening suddenly.

→ Wear protective gloves and goggles.

→ Be very careful when working on the brake system.
Engage both tension springs -4- .
Install compression springs -3- and plug in speed sensor connector again.
