Installing Rear Brake Disc

Information
- Replace brake calliper fastening screws each time they are removed .
Do not confuse left and right brake discs during assembly!
- Check that all parts are in perfect condition (visual inspection) and replace them if necessary.
- Clean the flat and centering surfaces on the brake disc and wheel hub.
- Apply a very thin coat of Optimoly TA to the centering surface on the wheel hub.
- Installation is performed in reverse order.
Observe specified tightening torques:
Brake disc to wheel hub: Tightening Torque 15 Nm (11 ft. lb.)
Brake calliper to wheel bearing housing: Tightening Torque 85 Nm (63 ft. lb.)
Cable holder to wheel bearing housing: Tightening Torque 8 Nm (6 ft. lb.)
- Position disc brake pads by operating the brake several times.
- Check the brake fluid level and correct it if necessary.
