Information
Pentosin in engine compartment
- The reservoir is located at the front left of the engine compartment.
- A dipstick with MIN/MAX markings is attached to the reservoir cap. The markings are for a fluid level on a cold engine (approx. 20 °C).
- The MAX marking can be easily exceeded at higher temperatures.
- Check the fluid level (Pentosin CHF 202) when the engine is not running and when it is cold (approx. 20 °C).
- Fill the reservoir and do not exceed the MAX marking.
- Bleed the hydraulic power-assisted steering system. → Bleeding

The procedure described here has been structured in general terms. Different text or additional information may appear in PIWIS Tester II 9818 .
- If the hydraulic pump was replaced, the control unit must be coded using the System Tester.
- 5.1. Connect the Porsche System Tester to the vehicle and start the System Tester. Switch on ignition.
- 5.2. Select the vehicle type and start the PIDT.
- 5.3. Select the Power-steering control unit in the overview .
- 5.4. Select Coding/adaptations .
- 5.5. Select Automatic coding and press [F12].
