Preliminary Work For ELV Control Unit

  1. If a new control unit has to be installed, the values and codings must be read out using the 2nd generation PIWIS Tester 9818  prior to removing the "old" ELV control unit. → 480855 REPLACING ELV CONTROL UNIT .
  2. Remove steering column. → 481519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING STEERING COLUMN  .
