EBP Test

Information
Accelerator pedal must not be pressed.
All conditions must be valid for 1 second because only then is roller-type test stand mode detected!
Entry conditions for roller-type test stand mode in the EPB control unit
| Ignition on. |
| VIN is entered correctly. |
| Vehicle is coded correctly. |
| Transmission disengaged: manual transmission at idle speed, PDK in neutral position "N". |
| Speed on front axle < 2.2 km/h |
| Speed on rear axle: < 12 km/h |
| The clutch pedal is no longer queried on the Cayenne. |
Exit conditions for roller-type test stand mode in the EPB control unit
| Ignition off. |
| CAN transmission information invalid. |
| Clutch not pressed or selector lever not in position "N". |
| Speed on all wheels: V < 2.2 km/h |
Test procedure
| Roller-type test stand detected. |
| Switch actuated to tightening direction. |
| Once the pad contact point is reached, the first actuator pauses until the second one reaches it. |
| Tighten both actuators (no time delay). |
| Balance the left and right wheel speed delta. |
| Exit roller-type test stand mode when the wheels are locking. |
