Installing Dashboard

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2018 Porsche Cayenne, 2017 Porsche Cayenne, 2016 Porsche Cayenne, 2015 Porsche Cayenne, and 2014 Porsche Cayenne. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Carefully guide the dashboard into place and position it.
Push the dashboard -6- into the three retaining clips -7- .
Make sure that no lines are trapped when guiding in the dashboard.

Secure the dashboard.

1. 3.1. Tighten fastening screws -5- at the front to Tightening torque 1.5 Nm (1 ftlb.) .
2. 3.2. Tighten fastening screws -4- at the sides to Tightening torque 1.5 Nm (1 ftlb.) .
3. 3.3. Tighten fastening screw -3- at the top to Tightening torque 1.5 Nm (1 ftlb.) .
Plug in electric plug connection for the ignition starter switch. → 280419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING IGNITION STARTER SWITCH
Plug in electric plug connection for the temperature sensor for the outer air vents at the left and right.

Plug in electric plug connections for the servo motors for the center air vents at the top.

Clip wiring into the dashboard at the left and right.

Plug in and lock the two electric plug connections for the passenger airbag unit.

Tighten two fastening screws -1- on the passenger airbag unit to Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) .
