Removing Rear Luggage Compartment Side Trim Panel

Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle .
Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well .
These must be carried out as a mirror image of the steps shown for the front and rear .

Information

To reduce the unclipping forces and thereby the risk of damage during removal, the removal steps must be carried out at the accessible connection points using a suitable tool.

Unscrew the expansion rivets -1- .

Detach rear side trim panel in area -A- .
Release electrical plug connection for loudspeaker -a- and pull it off -B- .

On left side only: Disconnect electrical plug connection from socket. → 905819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING SOCKET
Unclip side trim panel at the marked areas -circles- .
