Installing Number Plate Cover

Information 

• Additional assembly operations must be performed when replacing the front apron since the replacement part is supplied without bore holes. 

1. Drill holes for number plate cover in the front apron.
   1. 1.1. Cut off the centering mandrel -3-  on the inside of the number plate cover.

   2. 1.2. Stick a strip of adhesive tape that can be written on -1-  approximately in the center of the front apron.

   3. 1.3. Find the center between the vertical shafts on the air grille and mark this spot on the adhesive tape -1-  affixed to the front apron -arrow-  .
   4. 1.4. Approximately in the center of the front number plate cover -1-  , affix a strip of adhesive tape that can be written on -2-  .

   5. 1.5. Find the center between the outer edges of the front number plate cover and mark this spot on the strip of adhesive tape -2-  affixed to the front number plate cover -arrow-  .
   6. 1.6. Position front number plate cover -2-  on the contour of the front apron and align it according to the markings on the adhesive tape.

   7. 1.7. Drill holes for expansion rivets using → Diameter: 8 mm  .
   8. 1.8. Pull off strips of adhesive tape -1 and 2-  (-arrows-  ).

2. Insert expanding rivets and push the pins in flush.
