Installing Wing Trim Panel

- Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle.
- Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well.

- Always fit new grommets before installing the wing trim panel.
- Check fixing clips and replace if necessary.
- If you intend to re-use the wing trim panel -2-
, replace double-sided adhesive tape -1-
at the top of the wing trim panel -2-
.
- 1.1. Remove old adhesive tape -1- completely from the wing trim panel -2- .
- 1.2. Carefully clean and de-grease the bonding area.
- 1.3. Stick new double-sided adhesive tape -1- on the top of the wing trim panel -2- and press it on firmly.
- Clip new grommets -1- into the body.
- Check fixing clips -2- for damage and check that they are fitted securely in the wing trim panel -3- .
- Carefully clean and de-grease bonding area -arrow- of the double-sided adhesive tape -4- on the wing.
- Pull protective strip off the double-sided adhesive tape -4- .
- Position wing trim panel -3- , clip it in and press firmly on the double-sided adhesive tape -4- to secure it to the wing.
