Removing Dashboard Bracket

  1. Disconnect wire harness for dashboard.
    1. 1.1. Disconnect plug connection for dashboard at connection point on left A-pillar.

      1. 1.1.1. Release plug connections at the left fuse box -A-  and remove them -B-  .
      2. 1.1.2. Release plug connections -a-  and pull them off -C-  .
    2. 1.2. Unclip fixing clips -1-  for wire harness at the heating/fresh-air unit.

    3. 1.3. Disconnect plug connection for dashboard at connection point on right A-pillar.

      1. 1.3.1. Release plug connections at the left fuse box -A-  and remove them -B-  .
      2. 1.3.2. Release plug connections for the dashboard wire harness -a-  and pull them off -C-  .
    4. 1.4. Disconnect plug connection for blower power supply.

    5. 1.5. Release plug connection -A-  and disconnect it -B-  from the heating/fresh-air unit.
    6. 1.6. Release plug connection at the two locking lugs -a-  and pull it off -C-  .
  2. Loosen mounting for dashboard bracket.
    1. 2.1. Unscrew fastening nuts -1-  for the heating/fresh-air unit.

    2. 2.2. Unscrew the bottom fastening screw at the right on the tunnel -2-  .

    3. 2.3. Unscrew the outer fastening screw -3-  .
    4. 2.4. Unscrew the fastening nuts at the sides -1-  .
    5. 2.5. Remove bracket for dashboard from the body.
    6. 2.6. Unclip electric lines -1-  on the right side of the dashboard bracket -2-  .

    7. 2.7. Swivel the dashboard bracket out towards the passenger compartment.
