Removing Outer Side Member

Information 

Drill out the connection point on one side only. Do not damage the plate underneath.

1. Drill out spotwelds using spotweld drill  .

   Information 

   Drill out spotwelds A  through two plate thicknesses.

   1. 1.1. Drill out spotwelds in area -A-  using spotweld drill  .

   Information

2. Drill out spotwelds using spotweld drill  .

3. Heat the marked bonding surfaces.
   1. 3.1. Lift up side member -1-  in the lower area slightly → A-  .
   2. 3.2. Press side member -1-  down in the upper area → a-  and remove it.
