Removing B-Pillar Reinforcement

Information 

Drill out the connection point on one side only. Do not damage the plate underneath.

1. Remove connecting piece of side member.
   1. 1.1. Drill out spotwelds. Spotweld drill bit Nr.129 Pneumatic spotweld remover, Vario Drill WS 90 WE 1139

2. Heat bonding areas marked in yellow. Hot-air blower, Leister-Electron/V.A.G. 1416 WE 1119 
   1. 2.1. Remove connecting piece.

3. Remove supporting plate for B-pillar reinforcement.
   1. 3.1. Drill out spotwelds. Spotweld drill bit Nr.129 Pneumatic spotweld remover, Vario Drill WS 90 WE 1139

4. Remove B-pillar reinforcement.
   1. 4.1. Drill out spotwelds. Spotweld drill bit Nr.129 Pneumatic spotweld remover, Vario Drill WS 90 WE 1139 
   2. 4.2. Remove welded seams in area -A-  .

5. Remove welded seams in area -A-  from the inside.

6. Make cut.

7. Remove B-pillar reinforcement.
