Preparing Connection Areas Of Body For Installing Spring Strut Mount

Fit in spring strut mount and secure it to the body. Check gap dimensions. → 5X00IN DIAGRAM - BODY GAP DIMENSIONS
Position spring strut mount using the straightening system.
1. 1.1. Drill bores for the rivets through the existing holes. → Diameter: 6.5 mm
2. 1.2. Offset bore -1- so that it is moved outward slightly -arrow A- .
3. 1.3. Drill two holes -arrows B- on the supports between the spring strut mount and longitudinal member.

  Offset the bores for the drilled-out rivets -1 and 2- so that they are moved up slightly.

Remove spring strut mount.
Prepare connection areas on the body for bonding. → 5X00IN21 WORKING WITH BODY STRUCTURAL ADHESIVE
