Installing Windscreen-Washer Reservoir

Information 

Check rubber sleeves, clips and water reservoir and replace them if necessary.

1. Check that water pipes and electric lines are routed properly.
2. Hold the reservoir -2-  in the wheel housing and plug in electric plug connections -3, 4, 5, 6-  (-Arrows-  ) until the connectors engage securely.
3. Secure the wire harness -1-  at the reservoir -2-  (-Arrow A-  ).

4. Connect water connection for the windscreen-washer spray nozzles. → 552219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT LID - section on "Installing"
5. Slide the filler neck -3-  into the reservoir -2-  (-Arrow A-  ) - use soap suds.
6. Engage the reservoir -2-  in the A-pillar -Arrow B-  and secure with the fastening screw -1-  . Tightening Torque 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lbs.)

7. Route and engage water lines for the reservoir.
8. Connect water pipe from the connection for the pump for the headlight cleaning system. → 927819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING PUMP FOR HEADLIGHT CLEANING SYSTEM  - section on "Installing"
