Preliminary Work

  1. If a new control unit has to be installed, the values/coding must be read out using PIWIS Tester II 9818  prior to removing the "old" control unit. → Replacing TPM control unit WM 9X00IN BASIC INSTRUCTIONS AND PROCEDURE FOR CONTROL UNIT PROGRAMMING USING THE PIWIS TESTER .
  2. Remove cover for center underbody. → 519319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR CENTER UNDERBODY .
