Airbag Sensor

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2019 Porsche 911, 2018 Porsche 911, 2017 Porsche 911, 2016 Porsche 911, and 2015 Porsche 911. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. All airbag sensors in damaged/deformed areas of the vehicle must always be replaced.
  2. Otherwise (i.e. even if the vehicle was not crashed), the airbag sensors must be replaced if they show signs of mechanical damage and/or if the airbag control unit detects that the airbag sensor is defective (use PIWIS Tester II 9818  to read out the fault memory).
  3. Triggering unit after the system is triggered for the third time.
