Re-Programming An Individual Button

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 10 other vehicles, including the 2012 Porsche Cayman, 2012 Porsche Boxster, 2011 Porsche Cayman, 2011 Porsche Boxster, and 2010 Porsche Cayman. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Press the required button until the LED flashes slowly (approx. 20 seconds). You then have around 5 minutes to complete steps 2 and 3.

Hold the original remote control approx. 0 - 30 cm in front of the marked position on the vehicle.

Press the Send button on the original remote control until the fog lights flash three times (up to approx. 45 seconds).
Repeat steps 1 to 3 to assign further buttons.
Information

A number of attempts may be necessary at different distances between the vehicle and original remote control.

The hazard warning lights flash once after 5 minutes. The programming operation must then be started from scratch.
