Preliminary Work

  1. Disconnect the battery.

    → 2X00IN WORK INSTRUCTIONS AFTER DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY

  2. Jack and raise the vehicle at the prescribed jacking points.

    → 4X00IN LIFTING THE VEHICLE

  3. Remove rear underbody panelling.

    → 519419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR REAR UNDERBODY

  4. Remove tailpipe cover.

    → 263519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TAILPIPE COVER

    Additional work for all-wheel drive vehicles: 

  5. Remove cover for centre underbody.

    → 519319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR CENTRE UNDERBODY .

  6. Remove cardan shaft.

    → 390219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CARDAN SHAFT .
