Removing Lower Trailing Arm

  1. Dismantle linkage from level sensor (height sensor) on the holder -1-  .

  2. Loosen control arm spoiler (air guide for brake cooling) on the trailing arm and twist up.

  3. Loosen trailing arm on wheel bearing housing and press out ball joints using special tool Press-out tool 9560  .

    To prevent damage to the rubber sleeves of the ball joint, coat the rubber sleeves and the puller in this area with tyre mounting paste.

  4. Remove fastening screw of trailing arm on longitudinal arm (diagonal arm).
  5. Remove fastening screw of trailing arm on axle support.

  6. Remove trailing arm.
