Installing Carbon Canister - Usa

Component overview of carbon canister with leakage diagnosis pump

1 Carbon canister
2 Fastening screws
3 Thick blue hose
4 Thin black hose
5 Electric line
6 Leakage diagnosis pump
7 Vacuum line for leakage diagnosis pump
  1. Clip electric line -5-  at the back of the carbon canister into the brackets.
  2. Connect vacuum line -7-  for the leakage diagnosis pump -6-  .
  3. Plug in electric plug connection on leakage diagnosis pump -6-  until the connector engages securely.
  4. Attach hose connections -3 and 4-  to the carbon canister -1-  .
  5. Tighten three fastening screws -2-  on the carbon canister -1-  .

    > Tightening torque 9 (6.5 ftlb.) Nm
