Removing Door Entry Guard

Information 

• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle. 
• Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well. 

1. Remove cover strip for door entry guard at the front -1-  .
   1. 1.1. Unclip cover strip for door entry guard at the front -1-  using an assembly wedge -B-  .
   2. 1.2. Guide cover strip for door entry guard at the front -1-  to the rear -A-  and remove it.

2. Remove cover strip for door entry guard at the rear -2-  .
   1. 2.1. Unclip cover strip for door entry guard at the rear -2-  using an assembly wedge.
   2. 2.2. Remove cover strip for door entry guard at the rear -2-  (-C-  ).

3. Remove door entry guard.
   1. 3.1. Unscrew and remove fastening nuts -3-  for the door entry guard -4-  .
   2. 3.2. Remove door entry guard -4-  .
