Replacing Outer Seal
Information
- It is not possible to remove the seal without damaging it.
- The bonding surface will be damaged during removal.
- The seal must be replaced with a new one.
- Pull outer seal -1- off the bonding surface -3- on the roof -2- .
- Remove any adhesive residue from the roof using an erasing disc Film Eraser Nr. 174 Pos. 1

Information
- Immediately before sticking on, wash off the areas on which you intend to stick the seal using isopropyl to ensure that all traces of silicone, grease and oil are completely removed.
- Clean bonding surface with isopropyl.
- Centre the new outer seal -1- with the gap -arrow- facing the middle of the rear roof cut-out.
- Pull off protective film on the adhesive tape -3- and press the seal evenly onto the roof -2- .
- Press the outer seal firmly onto the roof by pressing it on evenly twice all the way around using a press-on roller.
