Installing (Outer) Rear Wheel Housing

  1. Apply adhesive.

    1. 1.1. Evenly apply adhesive to the marked areas.

      Working with body structural adhesive → 5X00IN WORKING WITH BODY STRUCTURAL ADHESIVE

  2. Fit and secure (outer) rear wheel housing.
  3. Resistance spot-weld the (outer) rear wheel housing.

  4. Weld in (outer) rear wheel housing.

    1. 4.1. Resistance spot-weld (outer) rear wheel housing.
    2. 4.2. Spot-weld (outer) rear wheel housing using inert gas.
  5. Spot-weld (outer) rear wheel housing using inert gas.

  6. Weld in (outer) rear wheel housing.

    1. 6.1. Resistance spot-weld (outer) rear wheel housing.
    2. 6.2. Plug-weld (outer) rear wheel housing in the area -A-  using inert gas.
  7. Install rear side section. → 535555 REPLACING REAR SIDE SECTION  - section on "Installing"
  8. Install outer side member (rear section). → 514555 REPLACING OUTER SIDE MEMBER - section on "Installing"
