Removing Side Convertible Top Rooflining

Loosen rear fastening points.

1. 1.1. Remove tie-wrap -1- on the tension rope.
2. 1.2. Unscrew screw -2- .
3. 1.3. Remove expansion rivet -3- .
Disengage rear guide cable.
1. 2.1. Disengage rear guide cable at the bottom -arrow- .

2. 2.2. Disengage rear guide cable at the top -arrow- .

Disengage guide cable at the rear surface roof strut -arrows- .

Disengage guide cable at the front surface roof strut -arrow- .

Disengage control cable at the roof frame.

1. 5.1. Unhook boot -1- .
2. 5.2. Disengage control cable.
Disengage guide cable at the roof frame -arrows- .

Detach guide cable on upper control arm.
1. 7.1. Cut tie-wrap -1- and guide the guide cable inwards -arrow- .

Detach cloth -arrow- .

Detach front convertible top rooflining.

1. 9.1. Loosen expansion rivets -2- .
2. 9.2. Unscrew screws -3- .
3. 9.3. Fold down convertible top rooflining -1- .
4. 9.4. Unscrew screw -4- .
5. 9.5. Remove clamp -5- with convertible top rooflining -1- (-arrow A- ).
6. 9.6. Pull clamp -5- out of the convertible top rooflining -1- (-arrow B- ).
Drill out rivets.
1. 10.1. Drill out rivets -arrows- on tensioning springs -2- and guide eyelet -3- .

2. 10.2. Drill out rivet -arrow- on guide eyelet -4- .

  3. 10.3.3. Guide retaining strap inwards.
4. 10.4. Drill out rivet -arrow- on guide cable spring -6- .

Remove guide cable.
1. 11.1. Pull guide cable with spring -2- through at the suspended joint -3- .

Remove side convertible top rooflining.
Remove chips and remaining parts of rivets.
